NEDIES is a European Commission project developed in the framework of the DG Joint Research Centre Institutional Programme "Safety and Emergency Management for Man-Made and Natural Hazards" aimed to support EU policies, mainly those of the Civil Protection and Environmental Emergencies Unit of DG Environment, in the area of prevention, mitigation and management of natural risks and technological accidents.

| If registered, after filling a form, the user will be allowed to access the private database through a username and a password. |

After agreement from NEDIES staff, authorised users will be allowed to access the password-protected disaster database to consult lessons learnt information on disaster management practices (prevention, preparedness and response phases, along with information regarding dissemination of information to the public). Furthermore, the user will also be able to share lessons learnt information with other registered users.
NOTE: registration requires a valid user email adress!
